chocolate plastique - chocolate plastic (clay) recipe

This chocolate modeling clay can be used to form all kinds of chocolate sculpture, make chocolate roses, or rolled out in sheets to cover cakes.

Chocolate Plastique - Chocolate Plastic (Clay)

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. 3 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 cups corn syrup
Procedure
  1. Melt chocolate, stir in corn syrup with heavy wooden spoon.
  2. Pour onto plastic lined sheet pan and let set up room temperature. Store room temperature.
  3. Knead to soften, then roll out as needed.
